QuietWire Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 29, 2026

QuietWire Private Messenger is a private-server messaging client developed by TX Web. QuietWire is not a public chat network. To use the app, you need an invite, server address, demo server access, or your own QuietWire server.

The QuietWire client may store local settings on your device, such as your server address, profile information, contacts, and app preferences. This information is used only to make the app function.

Messages, files, images, contact information, voice/video signaling, and related communication data are exchanged with the QuietWire server you choose to connect to. That server may be run by you, someone who invited you, an organization, or TX Web for demo/testing purposes.

TX Web does not operate a public QuietWire messaging network for all users and does not sell QuietWire user data to advertisers or data brokers. If you connect to a server operated by someone else, that server owner controls the server environment. Only connect to servers run by people or organizations you trust.

If TX Web provides demo server access, demo server data may be processed temporarily for testing and demonstration. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or confidential information through a demo server.

You may remove local QuietWire data by uninstalling the app or deleting its local app data. For data stored on a QuietWire server, contact the owner/operator of that server.
